TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that range is solid.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will make the platform set once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
